Founded in Hong Kong, ownthing’s mission has always been clear: make the best work possible for our clients. But in order to do this, we needed to take on the biggest problem with most agency models.

The problem with most agency models is so much of a client’s budget goes towards paying people who aren’t doing the actual work. Shareholders, CEOs, IT guys, etc. They don’t work for you, but you’re absolutely paying for them.

All which means there simply isn’t enough left to hire the best talent possible to do the work you’re paying for. Either that, or they charge you a lot more.

We please clients, not shareholders. The only way to earn money at ownthing is by doing the work. So if you’re not working on a project, you don’t earn anything off it. Simple.
